Privacy Policy

TL;DR. If you email us, we read it and reply. If you visit this site, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP, browser type, page visited) for security, plus cookieless aggregate stats so we can see which pages people read. We don't profile you, identify you, or sell, share, or trade your data. Ever.

Who we are

Ovimore ("Ovimore", "we", "our") is a hospitality revenue management partnership operating from the Netherlands. The data controller is Joris Bruyning, reachable at hello@ovimore.com.

What we collect on this site

This is a marketing website. The only data we collect here is:

• Your email address and message if you click one of the "Talk to us" / "Request a demo" / "Start a project" links and send us an email. The email goes to our inbox via standard email infrastructure.
• Standard server logs recorded by our hosting provider Vercel (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for the operation, security, and abuse prevention of the website. These logs are kept for a limited period and are not used for marketing.
• Aggregate visit statistics via Vercel Web Analytics. This is cookieless. We only get aggregate counts — pageviews, country, device type, browser, referring URL. Your IP address is hashed before processing and is never stored. We cannot identify individual visitors. We use it to see which pages get read and where visitors come from, nothing else.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, ad networks, session recording, cross-site trackers, or any analytics tool that profiles individuals. We do not buy, scrape, or import personal data from external sources.

Why we collect it

The legal basis for processing your email is your own initiative — you contact us first. We use it for one purpose: replying to you. The legal basis for server logs is our legitimate interest in keeping the site online and secure.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, lease, share, or trade your personal data. Period.

We do use a small number of trusted infrastructure providers strictly to operate the site and respond to your message. They process data on our behalf:

• Vercel Inc. — hosts the website. May process server logs.
• Resend — handles outbound email when we reply to you. Processes the email contents and addresses involved.
• Our email inbox provider — stores your email so we can read and respond.

These providers may process data outside the EU (e.g. United States) under their own privacy commitments and standard contractual clauses where applicable.

How long we keep it

Emails: we keep correspondence for as long as it's relevant to an ongoing relationship, plus a reasonable period afterward for our records. If you ask us to delete your email history with us, we will.

Server logs: rotated by our hosting provider on their default retention schedule (typically days to weeks).

Your rights

Under the GDPR / AVG you have the right to:

• Ask what data we have about you
• Ask us to correct or delete it
• Ask us to stop processing it
• Get a copy in a portable format
• File a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl

To exercise any of these, email hello@ovimore.com with the subject "Privacy request". We respond within 30 days.

Note about the Ovimore app

This privacy policy covers the marketing website at ovimore.com only. The Ovimore app at app.ovimore.com processes additional data on behalf of hotel customers (commercial operations data, no guest PII) under a separate data processing agreement signed at the start of each engagement.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle data, we update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. For substantial changes affecting active users, we notify you by email.
